Video Card issues

What video card does everyone have? I am very close to convincing my mum to get a bew computer that comes with a 256mb nvidia GeForce FX 5600 AGP card. Now on first glance you think "OH S**T" or at least  I did when I saw 256, but does anyone know if it is worth it. I think it will be. Plus, this new computer also has 1gb RAM! and its only £850 roundabout! Good deal or what?

These sorts of questions are good to make in the OFPEC Chat or somewhere else.. there's bound to be discussion forums for this subject somewhere on the net because new Video Cards come and go like mushrooms at fall.
