For the past few days I have started my production on a large multiplayer mission called "Deadzone"
Here we go:
This will be a FFA mission with many scripts are involved. It will be based on civilian units who need to gain the upper hand over each other.
This mission takes place with the ENTIRE Nogova map.
Each player has his own base somewhere in the map.
Each base is supplied with a whole bunch of features.
You can build your own weapons using my "build" addon package I am making. Using Devil's "attatching vehicles" script.
You can view your current enemie status, ETC
You can go to a Library to learn how to fix a vehicle when destroyed.
The money script will be used also. I am going to E-Mail TakeoffTim about the method he used for Iron Wall, because you need the ability to build and protect your own base.
Many more features will be added of course.
The main objective of the game is to capture everybodies base by taking over your opponents base.
This can be done by taking a flag, or killing your opponent.
When you are killed, it's not game over.
You respawn at an Island as a hospitalized man. You are then free to do what you want, help other people, steal weapons, ETC.
However you cannot win the game of you die.
When you die you are simply in "free mode"
Now the weapon build script is possible. It is going to be very difficult to do, but it is definately possible!
You can buy parts and build your own tank with a variety of objects to choose from. USING MY BUILDING ADDON PACKAGE.
Say you need a wheel for your jeep, the wheel will have the Jeep CPP put inside of it...
Q: Well then you can drive a wheel around if it has the Jeep CPP?
A: Impossible once I put the "lock" tab on, inside the editor
Whoever conquers all of the Island is victorious!
Now I obviously cannot complete this Mission on my own.
I could, but that would take ages.
