'Solving' Topics
snYpir:
Dudes,
the old 'problem solved' option has been integrated with this forum, and i ask you all to make use of it ;)
You can only solve a thread that you have started, and solving will also lock.
The moderators/staff will soon be moving 'solved' threads into a huge searchable FAQ, and the visual indication of the solved thread is how they know that a topic is complete.
Questions?
Bremmer:
A couple of queastions snYpir
When the topic is moved to the FAQ will it be in the form of the thread, or will the staff filter out the question and answers from the less relevant posts?
What will happen to duplicate questions?
Cheers
snYpir:
All good questions, that will be answered once we design the FAQ ;)
i'll keep u all posted.
hubba:
The staff will create the FAQ based on posts in the forums and other sources. So the result will not be cluttered with irellevant comments. Only the usefull stuff will remain.
Messiah:
so.....
dont click problem solved untill you know the problem is solved - i.e go and test the answer and then come back and click problem solved
otherwise ya post is locked and you either hastle us or start a new topic, which we dont want.
