Slowly declining?

I have noticed that OFPEC is slowly coming to a hault...  Whats up with that?  Missions havent been coming in till a few days later instead of daily?

Well, I suppose that ArmA's "teething troubles" have radically cut the community, and the prolonged patching process was not particularily helpful as well... so it's a far cry from the OFP days.

But with ArmA2 on the horzion, I have much hope for a revived community.

 I agree with Mathias. 

 On a positive side though I am still happy to see new people start editing even after all this time.  Plenty of people in my office hammer out OFP missions to this day, all the new hires get a copy.  We see new missions at least 3 or 4 times a week although most of them are riddled with inside jokes and are hardly appropriate to submit here.

I would think at this point, we all would appreciate anything new regardless of the subtle jokes

once Arma2 comes out, Arma will pop back up and more then likely OFP

With the AceMod, It seems to breathe new life into the game. How popular is it and would people actually download and install the mod if people were to make missions with it?

The Ace Mod is awesome, slowly it will get around , and there are some bugs to work on with it but their all working pretty fast on it. I havnt played the beta one yet, we'll have to see what happens 

hey does anyone know the pc specs on Arma2? I might just have to stick with the original for a long while.

I noticed the decline as well, but in the last month have noticed some new posters, and new stars rising.

For me its all about time.  I have a million ideas for missions and scripts that race through my mind, but no time to to get them done...
