Using Queen's Gambit with other mods
« on: 11 Dec 2007, 22:59:50 »
This might sound stupid, but can anyone tell me how to use Queen's gambit with other stuff? I've installed QB, but it only gives me a shortcut, no file. So when I use the Keg Launcher there is no file for me to select and it won't accept the QB executable. When I start up just vanilla ArmA I get the new map of Porto, and the Campaign "Rahmadi Conflict", but no new units in the editor. But when I use the QB shortcut I also get the map United Sahrani, the new units, and the campaign Royal Flush. How do I make it so that I can run QB with all my other mods using Kegety's launcher?

Edit: Apparently QB added a file called "DBE1" to my directory, putting the pbo's of this file in their appropriate place fixed everything, now I can play QB with XAM and FDF and all that good stuff.

Thanks anyway

I have a Queens Gambit shortcut, and this is how it reads:

"C:\Program Files\Atari\ArmA\arma.exe" -mod=DBE1;@SIX_WeaponPack;@SIX_Pack1 -nosplash

Queens Gambit is a mod, it is not a separate executable.

As the above example show, I am running the Queens Gambit mod (DBE1) along with two other mods from 6th Sense.
