MP gametype...
« on: 16 Sep 2006, 17:08:36 »
I'm just curious...has anyone ever made a MP mission that plays like Battlefield? (take over command posts, use vehicles, all units fight independantly, and have only a small portion of the map to play in). I know that there are a couple of maps similiar to this, but they have such tiny troop numbers and it isnt all that fun. Im not that a big fan of battlefield, but it would be kinda cool to see Operation Flashpoint's answer to the game. And whats more, would it support AI?

just curious.

Yes, there have already been made missions like that;

I think the original one was called: 'Battlefield 1985'

There were some more following by modifying the BF1985 mission.
One i can remember being called: River Battle.

They wasnt the first ones, but some of the most popular.

There's also Desert Rumble as well. Same variant but in the desert to nogova, as opposed to the others.
