im looking for more ideas for my mission
in the mission you start at malden airport and are transported via a Uh60 to la trinite where you disembark and engage enemy forces with the MG's from the black hawks covering you whilst you get up
(the atmosphere then is great smoke from the smoke shells as cover the dust from the blackhawk's rotors and aload of radio chatter aswell as the MG's firing and M16 shots all around)
anyway then once its secure you must advance therough the valley to attack dourdan
im running out of ideas to have in this valley to happen to you so far i have

* A possible enemy outpost wich you must take out
* A possible enemy convoy wich goes to check on la trinite and you must take it out
* A hell load of patrols
* A possible chance of a BMP coming if your detected but is random and doesnt come if the convoy exists

if the convoy exists i delete the op and the bmp
but if the op exists i keep the op and get rif of the convoy so its all random but i want more possible things to happen to make it more random no matter what there still a lod of patrols (but are still random)

once the valley is clear you advance onto the ridge above Dourdan and are ordered to hit the dirt in hold fire mode then after a small while everyone open fire and advance in the town once the town is secure you are given word of a possible counter attack
so you entrenc your positions and take out the counter attack
then intel reports a small base just down the road near dourdan wich you and your squad are ordered to go and engage so you circle around the base and attack it once seized another counter attack consiting of APC's and boats from the sea (with infantry) wich you must attack and destroy once that counter attack is down
you must go back up into dourdan then the mission will end

the part after the valley is okay but ideas are still apreciated but i need odeas for what could happen in the valley ?

you may want to explain that again, because right now it sounds like if the convoy and outpost both exist, then the convoy, the outpost, and the bmp all get deleted.

anyways, you could:
 - have a random chance for an ambush
 - incorporate mortars/artillery (UA or other)
 - have a random chance of an enemy armored platoon coming in
basically, create possible situations in which the mission would not be completed (annihilation, forced retreat) and the player would have to find some way to survive the chaos and return to base.

well the mission needs completing but i do like the sound fo mortars they all cme in and yuo have to run for cover until they stop i might have a more armed convoy instead of an enemy armed platoon ill make the convoy with a t72, bmp, truck and a jeep all full of infantry.

lol - so you say:

if the convoy exists, the outpost gets deleted, but if the outpost exists,
the convoy gets deleted - this sounds lil bit like the question:

who was first - chicken or egg
If the chicken was first, where it came from, and if the egg was first,
who layed it?

You should say like that:

If the outpost exists, the convoy gets deleted incase it exists, and if
the outpost doesn't exist, the convoy wouldn't get deleted (incase it exists).

How about having one of your Blackhawks go down in the valley and you have to fight your way to it to rescue the crew. If it was me I'd have all the crew die so that when you got there all you would find is bodies and a wreck.  ;D

Another idea is to have a minefield there which would have to cleared. You could call engineers like in Facile Ground by Sui, I think that's the one. Then you could have enemy men attack and you'd have to cover the engineers whilst they cleared the way.

the blackhawk idea isnt really right for the idea the idea is the blackhawks hover low let you out then they go back to the airport so they couldnt be shot down but it is known once or twice for a blackhawk to be shot by an Rpg as its unloading troops

the minefield is a nice idea ill have to incorpriate some armour into the mission nice idea
