If you're using v1.96 you are using v1.2. 1.96 > 1.2 is it not? Also with the final version of 1.96 u will hjave FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.exe instead of FLASHBOINTBETA.exe

As XCess i think is saying, if you are trying to get the ecp shortcut to work, simply right click and rename its properties (the 'target' bit)
C:\ ...\FlashpointResistance.exe -whatever
instead of
C:\ ...\FlashpointBeta.exe -whatever
thats all

Seemingly, an error in the barraken config.... strange. It's in the normal OFP\Addons (where it should be) folder and not ECP\Addons right? Wouldn't have expected it to cause a problem like that.

correct line for ECP is:
"C:\Program Files\OperationFlashPoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -mod=@ECP

That's assuming you've installed to the default directory.

Oh and a question about mods... I can't get y2k3 to work.. everything was installed to a y2k3 folder (the readme says something about using the ECP folder but i got confused  :P I've been tired a lot lately, please forgive me  :() If i add the y2k3 extension (-mod=res;y2k3) ofp simply won't run.. also why is it using res as the original mod folder  :-\

The ECP in the editors depot is most recent. That'd be Dynamic Range sound pack you've got.. you get the updates too? I love that pack.

There is no set date, but the wait is almost over.
