BG: world oil prices are so high they are beyond a joke. Oil is heavily involved in everything the modern world does: it makes plastic (and so many things have to be made of an injection-moldable material), it is fuel for most cars, buses, trucks, planes, trains, tractors, boats, ships, etc., Well, you get the idea. It's like water and farm land back in ancient times. It's more than corporate profit, it's modern survival.
IDEA: Western world (pick a country/allied group) says "enough" and invades all OPEC nations.
Could use the indutrial pack addons out there, maybe have a race to control majority between NATO and Former Soviets. Great oil field battles, with balance between controlling and sabotaging and detsroying...
