Title: constant muzzle flash

 :'(why is the gun flash constantly there on a new weapon download, how do I get rid of the flash and only allow it when the weapon is firing?

If you use weapons made for v1.46 in Resistance (v1.75 and later) the muzzle flash will be there. You must download a new version which supports Resistance. If you cant find a versin for it, you can modify the cpp so that the muzzle flash wouldn't be there. At least what I've heard of. But if the weapon isn't too "old" you should be able to find a new version which supports Resistance. :)

yep, that's a CfgModel matter in the cpp ;)

muzzle flash occurs on all edited weapons... be it 1.46 or resistance - you can also remove it by switching off T&L in the options (not the in game ones, the ones in your ofp start menu thingy)
