Hi I made this script wich allow you to call chopter to pickup you and your men from anywhere anytime.

So please tell me what you like, what bugs you might found, suggestions and so on.

press 0-0-9 and then click map, where you want the chopter to pick you up. there is also cancel option in the radio menu 0-0-0

Ya got problems whit this? Or just dont like the idea? feedback would be apreciated.
Though I noticed that in some cases the chopter takes off too early and most of the soldiers die. Dont know howto fix this, so tip would be apreciated.

I haven't tried your script...

but some people (myself unfortunately included) might already be using SnYpir's support pack with his ability to call for helo extractions and rappelling as well as Close Air Support and Artillery missions all from the radio and the map...

I am sure your script is fantastic... but using SnYpir's (we) get just a little bit more without having to add even more coding and script handling.

might I suggest a little research thru the forum and read what others have said about it so far and what changes he has and is making... then going to the page for the support pack and reading the online documentation...

I know but this is bit difrend. You can call the chopter to take you anywhere you want.
Ohwell if anybodys intrested I updated the script and it works good now...

I allready updated it. Its quite difrend now. U basicly call chopter to move some where and then u can go in or get out. And the chopter lifts of when u move it again. So very simble.

Isn't that dangerous ? The chopper could get shot by sitting there & waiting for the players.

I'd add the feature that it goes back to a save base & lands there until the players call it again. just an idea

It sure is dangerous, but I though it would just as dangerous when it would float in the air. Or maybe more becose then all the ground units can fire it. But!
Thats why player should move the chopter back to safe zone after disembark. I think this is good becose u can chose how risky and how fast chopter suport u have.
So u have full controll of the chopter.

Why? I dont think im goin to do that becose that decreses enemys opportunities to shot it down.

Atention, atention!
Im not sure what version I have in the attachment so I removed the old one and now you can have the latest samble mission and script from attachment below.

I was just testing this my self and it works good, I just hope that even some of you will find some use to it  ;D
