Title: How do I make an MPMission read only?
Post by: Sharpshooter279 on 06 Feb 2013, 22:01:15
Hello all,

I've been trying to figure out how to make an MP Mission read-only (so nobody can edit it). Like when you're done making a mission, you export it to MPMissions. I have a PBO extractor that can make mission editable. When I extract my MP missions, you can just edit it. But I extracted other people's missions, and when I view it in OFP, it says "Warning! File is read-only", and won't let it you see or edit the stuff in it. How do I do that with my missions? (because I don't want people editing my missions)

I hope you know what I'm saying.
Thanks!

I guess in that case people have just edited the file properties for the un-pboed files.
As in, select mission.sqm -> press right mouse button -> select 'properties' and tick the 'read only' box.

That can however be re-done by anyone receiving the file so it's not actually protecting anything.
