Title: setVariable
Post by: Rommel92 on 21 Oct 2009, 00:47:52
Do variables set with set variable carry on to the re spawned player? I have noticed some strange anomalies, and therefore have to reset the variables on re spawn. This is strange behaviour?

Yes, In my experience they do - assuming you respawn into the "same" unit, ie if you are using respawn="BASE" or respawn="INSTANT" in the description.ext. Naturally, if you have "GROUP" or "SIDE" respawn, you'll end up in another, existing unit and the "new" player object variables may be different.

Can you reproduce these anomalies and create a mission that shows the problem?
