I've noticed that the forum search function will only search a time period of 7 days worth of posts.
For example, if you do a serch and leave the default settings then it will search from the present to 7 days back.
If you put 14 days as the maximum age of the last post, then it will search all posts from 7 to 14 days old.
This limits the ability of the search function for people who don't know about this.
Being able to search through every post from the last year would probably kill the server, so I guess it's not all bad.
I was searching the forums yesterday and had to do 4 different searches to finally get to a post that had the info I needed in it.
There is alot of good information buried in the forums that is not in the searchable FAQ, so perhaps you guys could put a note to users on the forum search page explaining the limitations of the search function.
