Title: JIP and MP lobby mission parameters, are they synced ?
Post by: laggy on 22 Mar 2009, 19:54:52
JIP again...  :-[ hopefully the last time for me.

Are the MP mission parameters (where you i.e choose time, intro or difficulty) recognized by a jipped player ?
Or do I have to solve that with PV too ?

Thanks all, for your patience with me  :cool2:

you can actually see them on the loading screen while you are logging in, so they must be transferred (well, OK, that doesn't prove that the variables will be available in scripts, but they are ;) ).

Hi Spooner,
Please teach me how you can actually see [the variables being sync'd] on the loading screen? How? You mean there is a switch were you can see all of the variables on the loading screen?

Now you are getting me worried! Now I'm thinking that I've only ever used the loading-screen variables on the server (param1 and param2), so I don't have absolute knowledge there. I was under the impression that the values were automatically available on every machine, but I think that VM is getting the wrong end of the stick. I am meaning that the values selected on the slot-selection screen, which pass into param1 and param2 variables are automatically available on every machine, even JIPers.
