Title: Russian soldiers

Looking for some quality addons to add to my next mission. Are there any russian soldier addons anywhere?

You'll want these:

Russian Federation Units 2.0 by RHS (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?s=4981d12d96643dea00bfd2c05ecca623;act=ST;f=70;t=68350;hl=rhs). Also contains a pretty kickass pack of weapons (don't know how the recoils behave though in post 1.08, but you can always use vanilla weapons too I guess). They belong to the "pre-tools" genre of addons, meaning they're really just retextured vanilla units : but the textures are pretty bad-assed, so there's nothing to be ashamed of there. Also Shadow NX keeps threatening to produce a new version, so there's even a slight chance of them getting upgraded sometime along...

There are SOME other russian units around (notably in CWR, but that would require a Total Conversion mod), but I think the above are just about the best :)

Good find. I was already using the Hind from the same addon makers.

and there is also a pack of retexturized vehicles from the RHS that look pretty good

CWR are not Russians, but Soviets - other country and not only CWR has Soviets , CWR has Soviets equipped like SLA not like real one :P
