Title: Poor Quality after conversion.
Post by: The-Architect on 03 Apr 2008, 15:18:44
When I convert a Jpeg to a .Paa in Texview the results in game are less than satisfactory. How do I get the quality that I had in my original texture to transfer into the game?
Is there a better conversion tool out there?

:D These boards aren't actually visible to the general public yet, sadly, since the Addon Depot Admin is being a lazy ass. Of course you can see it though, being a staff member and all.  :P

Anyway, I suggest you convert it to something like .tga first, since I think that has better quality by default, and then convert that to .paa using texview?

We really should open up these boards soon...

Wolfrug out.

Don't use jpg, it is very lossy and the artifacts will just get added into any conversion.

Use tga and Texview2, available from the ED.
