The tags in the list below have now been entered in the main tags list, which is available from the main front page. If you would like to register a new tag do so from this new interface.
Post in this topic any problems that you encounter with the new tag interface, so that we may investigate and fix the problem as soon as possible

I wold like to register the tag "RAGS".
I understand that "RAG" has already been taken but rags is my username in nearly every forum that I am in. If RAGS is not acceptable then I would like to register my username for this forum, ie "RONI".

Hi,
I noticed that there is a conflict in the tags. Bohemia Interactive Studio has used (in addition to tag BIS) tag LIB in Armed Assault. In the OFPEC tag list LIB is reserved for Liberation 1941-1945.
Reference file in Armed Assault 1.04.5121: Missions\Library.Sara\Data\Scripts\init.sqf.
I really don't know how this could be solved, just thought you should know about this conflict. Could there be two LIB tags in the list, other one marked for Bohemia Interactive Studio with a note about it? It's not a practical problem if Liberation 1941-1945 never releases anything for ArmA.

I have had to re-register here as my last account/profile disapeared a couple of weeks ago or more when OFPEC went down again.
I did apply for, and get confirmation for the SASM_ tag, obviously all my posts disapeared with my account & profile so can I re- apply for this and make it offical (again) :)

Might it be a good idea, (big task i know) to contact each "tag" owner and verify that the tag used in their project is active, i have a suspicious feeling that a lot of registered tags were used for non starters and it would be a good idea to clean the database up before arma really takes off.
Maybe the initial tag request tag should be added to a "temporary Registry" and should remain their until either
a) content has been officially released that uses it
b) the temorary registry time limit has been reached with no content released

I have left the CSLA tag alone as it is already registered to Maa, the CSLA2 and CSLA3 tags will be locked and registered to CSLA Mod Planck

ArMo - please, for ArMoGaDoN. Usually library functions / scripts and map stuff here, but maybe an addon or two in future.
Tags must be in uppercase letters only. I can give you ARMO, let me know if this is suitable or not, otherwise choose another tag. Planck

Now that the first account i created (FoSCo) works, I like to delete this one (FoSCo86) to use the first one's e-mail. I have the tag "FOSCO_" registered to FoSCo86 and before deleting the account i'd like to pass the tag to FoSCo, in such way that, after the passage, I can control and use it with FoSCo.
Is it possible? ???

Tags must be 3 to 5 letters only and must be composed of alpha numeric characters, letters must be capitals, also 4 or 5 letter tags must have an underscore following, 3 letter tags can also have the underscore but it is optional. Planck

I am logged in. I'm guessing that you need admin privalages or some such thing to view it?
If I follow the link on the left hand navigation bar, I can view the page sucessfully, but clicking on any of the links on that page results in the same error.

Hmm... I had to log out and log back in for it to work.
Could have been the problem in the first place. I would suggest you have someone try that next time someone has a problem with it.

Whilst the tag you have requested is only 4 letters long there are a couple of things wrong with it.
1./ All letters must be in capitals as the text at top says.
2./ ARMA tag is already taken.
You no longer need to request tags in this topic, the first post clearly states that you can still use this topic to report problems using the new tag request interface.......available from the front page.
Use this interface to try and register a tag.

The TAGS interface should be available to all members now from the front page, so you should all be able to access it and register a tag, presuming it isn't taken already.

a few of you have reported having problems with the tag submission system in that it doesn't recognise that you're logged in. i've spoken to jerry who coded the system and he is certain there's no bug in it.
our suggestion is therefore that any users who have these issues should log out of the site, clear their browser cache/cookies, and then log in again. if the problem persists after this, please let us know.
