Well, since this board is all quiet, I'll just shake it up a bit.
Howsabout feeding me on THIS ONE (http://www.ofpec.com/yabbse/index.php?board=6;action=display;threadid=101;start=15) :o ;D ( bottom of thread - the attached zip )
what the hek - the depot isn't up yet, so I guess the forums are our pre-depot :beat:
PS. lemme point out that this addon isn't made for the player nor
player controlled groups - only for the AI, and pref. for cutscenes etc.

Ok, Tomb, I really like the idea, but does this addon require Res? You don't seem to say anywhere if it does.
If you did mention it and I didn't see it sorry, but could you tell me?
I tryed to use it and it quit OFP with no message as to why.
I don't have Res yet as its not availeble here yet, and I have no acess to buy online.

yeah, it's 1.75, but as it doesn't really HAVE to be, I assume I should change that. :P ;D
If I use the orig. p3d file instead of my own (which is identical btw) and remove the
"cfg models" part from my config.cpp, then
I guess it should be compatible with ANY version.
But as its derivation is a jeep ( LOL ), I thought it would be a good idea to
create a new "models/vehicle" class allthough it ain't really nessesary.
Bah, I'll just annoy the addonDepot staff with another version when the depot is back up again. ::) ;)
The reason it derives from a UAZ is simply because I've noticed how the AI will
fire at this specific vehicle with handguns.

Actually, I got one more question for you.
This is for when I either get Res, or you make it compatible with normal OFP. ;)
How much damage will this target take before being destroyed?
A little, a lot, indestructible(no chance on that one right ;D)
Minor question I know, but I would like to know.

There used to be a 1.46 beta version attached here ( hence the rep's below ), but as it doesn't seems to
be working properly, I removed it.
Looks like we have to stick to the 1.75_RES version ( avaliable via the link, bottom of this thread ).

PS. it takes about 2-4 bullets to "kill" the target :)
Plz bear in mind that the posts below refer to the now removed 1.46 version. So just
skip those posts and goto the bottom of this thread. thx :-*

Well Tomby, I got some bad news for ya.
This new one still caused OFP to crash with no error message.
I hope this is just my computer.

The thing is - both versions work in ma' hut, and as my 7 y.o. kiddo recently broke
my orig. :noo: OFP disc into several pieces :help: I can't reinstall the game, so I have to stick with v_1.75
( the game is launched from the RES disc nowadays ), so-ma-can-not-test-if-this-is-just-yer-compy-or-some-other-thingy! :-X ;D
But I assume it must be your comp, unless ya play some dinosaur old version...
isn't the UAZ & the TargetE year-old orig. parts of the game?!
Anyho' I'll see if I can persuade someone to test this, m8
( I'm sure they are waiting in long lines to do this :beat: ) ;D

Works great in Resistance. Bob didtarget a whole host of these things. Unfortunately it caused the game to crash is 1.46.
Back to the drawing board tomboy.

I've tried tons of things now, and it seems like my custom made "Target E" only works for
operation flashpoint v_1.75, the RES upgrade.
Still, it's better then nothing, so if ya need an "AI-can-kill" Target E, grab it here.
Just remember that it only works if you own RES.ofp :)

:-\ ::) The AI won't fire at the original "TargetE"
( one of the training target objects avaliable in the editor under "EMPTY / OBJECTS" ).
:D So I made this one - looks exactly like the original "targetE", except that the AI soldiers
WILL fire at this custom target. It's just a tiny thing, no biggy, but I guess
the little things count as well as the big ones in the massive OFP monstrosity! :help: ;D
