have u seen the movie? well have u played the mission?(J/K!)
in the mission u are a pilot that has his own shipping compony
and fly boxes in u'r plane from place to place and while u are on a trip
u'r fuel line brake's and u bail out from u'r plane and land on a small island and have to survive.
u can

make a fire
make a tent
go fishing
a food cooking script
a hunger script
move the tent/fire to where u want to
a eat food script
find boxes on the shore with stuff in them

and that is it need more IDEA"S!

errmmmm sounds interesting but not really what the ofp engine is desighned for so know need for weapons or litteraly half of the required addons to play ofp you could probaly get away with deleting them
a nice idea though not usre how it will work it sounds more like a Mgs 3 Snake eater without the firing and deserted on ofp's desert island but obdviously without all the cool stuff he has
so basically its a survival game in ofp

eeerrrrmmm..... ideas
* A sleeping script cant go fot to long without sleep
* A message in a galss bottle
* Build thigs using a counter of what materials you have
* Cut wood and trees
* a swiming script

i cant think of any more now but if i think of any ill make sure i post them

If you do do this, you could use the script in the upcoming Ninja addon that allows you to swim more realisticly.

Also, a tired script would be good, so if you try to go out too far without a boat, you get too tired and have to go back.

waht kinda thing's should u be able to build?

well i think the main idea of building things is a boat you could also build small huts and little camps

and i can not find a raft addon thing some one up to makeing it?

Well one use for the firearms you were carrying when your plane went down and you found the box, is to hunt the animals or birds or something.

Plus it could be "interesting" if say, I know this is a far fetched idea, your copilot has a random chance of going crazy after a long time and trying to kill or eat you. Say you ran out of food for a long time... :P
Though it is a little edgy for an idea. (the copilot) :-X

well i mean like instead of omehow having the right materials for making a tent why not cut some wood and put it inbetween you haid tie it with string and then cover the gaps with a load of leaves

I reckon it would make a good mission. You could mix in a bit of storyline from the film "Forty Days and Forty Nights" - have some modern-day pirates come to the island. If they find you, they'll hunt you down, and you can nick weapons Resistance-style.
Either way, you could eventually use their radio for a lift out, or steal one of their rides to safety.  :)

i didnt gety a intro ? ideas, planes , boats ,  or dead body w/ gear or something to use in mission ending. treasure,. invaders,  '' the vollyball was funny'' is it willson?    'i had setvalues errors'. good consept here though,, cheers yankme

I love this idea, im gonna have ago at making it. But addons are gonna be a big problem can anyone make the addons needed?

I dont mind where the moderators finally decide to plunk these two threads, the entire theme is fantastic, i love it. Right now, it's taking off in the beta missions forum with <ahem> new 'enhancements'. you guys are BRILLIANT. please keep it going, coz it has every chance of going far. I think your call was right Marcus that it's far too early to be a beta, and does indeed belong here. I'd rather see it back in beta as a formal bug & road test after you've all hacked away at it here.

I recommend that you 'solve', one, or the other, thread so that you aren't chasing all over the place for replies. Because replies, you're gonna get.
