right before someone says its been donw im looking for the script
im sure ive seen it before where you can use a weapon out the side of a car window
ive searched the Ed depot and found nothing

Could only be done with an addon AFAIK.

Afiak? What does that stand for?

Also you could do this, It would just look really lame, Create a Machine gun IN the car and have your unit go in it and use lots of setpos, then just restrict its direction capabilities to prevent from sticking out the car door.

Simple answer, "no"
AFAIK = As far as I know

Dmakata it right, you would need a new addon make for this, scripts are to slow

i believe someone actually has this addon in progress...saw it on a thread here at OFPEC, forget who was making it. anyway, the addon was the white BIS sports car, and it detected the players weapon (i think) and made it so that the gunner used the same weapon, and only could shoot out the passenger window.
