what kind of hacker goes after such a user friendly site?
what do they have to hate u guys for?

do you know who did it?

was it one of the ofpec members?

Yes we know who does it and it was a group from Brazil, not connected to ofpec. And it's about equivalent to going out and smashing up a buss-booth or shop-window. It's useless, no one thinks you are cool and you just show your lack of social competence.

Now. mind you i've tried to tighten up the secrets abit on this system especially in regard to php. So if things are broken on ofpec due to this, please just report it and we'll try to fix it as soon as we get to it.

Hey, I'm going to be in Argentina in a few months to marry my beautiful Argentinian girlfriend.  While I am there I can go up north to Brazil (after the honeymoon of course) with My gal's Rugby playing brothers (these guys are big and tough) and pound those punk Brazilian hacker's heads.  Seriously, though if you really know who they are then maybe we can at least arrange for all their computer stuff to be "confiscated". ;D

Just a little thing I found that when the site was hacked I could still access the COMREF. Dont know why that is? Glad the sites back up!

Can I point out, in defence of (proper) hackers..
White Hat Hackers = Good
Black Hat Hackers = Idiots, or "evil" if you want
Crackers = Should be hung

As in, you click a link to a news item, it goes to the same page, (Refreshes it, basicly)...
