unit allowFleeing courage

Operand types:
unit: Object or Group
courage: Number
Type of returned value:
Nothing
Description:
Set group courage. The less courage, the sooner will group start fleeing. 0 means maximum courage, 1 means always fleeing.

Example:
soldierOne allowFleeing 0

Actually, you can just write this in the unit field of the group leader

this allowFleeing 0

You can give units virtually any name you like.    Read Abuu's Basic Editing Tutorial in the Editors Depot.

In the init field of the group leader

grp1 = group this

does that mean on another group it would have to be "grp2 = group this"

Yes, if you try to give any two things the same name (doesn't matter if they are groups, variables, objects, etc.) then the game blows up and sets fire to your cat.

Don't forget it'll infest a LCD virus on your harddrive so anytime you enter a forum in the near future your posts makes no sense...

Actually, the command you're looking for is setgroupid, look it up in your ComRef.

i dont actually get the set group id thing does that need a link in the descriptions.ext file. Im trying to have it so when on a radio call or side chat thing in my case it says "Alpha : "this is alpha to all units blady blady blah" how do i get that to work instead of " Echo black 6 : This is alpha to all units and so on" how?

What do you type then? We can't help you if you don't give us information. I have a mission I'm working on, uses setgroupid. Works fine.

You can't get rid of the "Alpha Black" stuff.   You can change it to "Bravo Green" or whatever you like, but it is always there.

You can have two special callsigns, of which one is usually Papa Bear.   There is a tute in the Ed Depot on how to change that to whatever you want.

If you want more than two, then the workaround is to start the message with the callsign you want.

"(Sgt Smith) - Ready when you are, boys."
