Title: Original Ofp questions

Ok I have the original Operation Flashpoint and I am making a search and rescue mission, I want the guy I am trying to rescue light a flare and sit down.

I have tried the flare tutorials but I didn't fully understand them, plus I don't know how to make the guy sit down, help me please!

loon1 fire "flaregreen"

Make sure he has a flare and a grenadelauncher obviously.    You can have flare, flarered or flareyellow instead.

loon1 playmove "effectStandSitDown"

I'm not sure that is the correct animation name so check the list in the Ed Depot - tutes - references - command refs.
