Im working on an mp map, and everything seems fine until its uploaded onto my clan server. The problem is that when your running about innocently people die at points on the map for no reason. The outer borders work fine also.
I've gone back to the mission and checked these points and there's no triggers there. I've also checked the scripts if it gave anything to do with people being killed for crossing borders or something... but nothing. ???
If it helps I can send you the mission file...
This problem only occurs when its uploaded onto the server though which makes it more puzzling...
So any :help: is appreciated. :)

The problem will be that you have used rectangle triggers for your killzones
Replace them with ellipse triggers and you will rid yourself of the problem.
Rectangular shaped triggers can migrate for some unknown reason
resizing ellipse triggers will get you the protection and restriction you want.
Use minimum width of 5 for the triggers or they can become intermittent in their operation

OK, I'll try that...
Cheers,
Waterman. :)

I also had problems with area triggers, I think when you set the "angle" of the trigger it's ignored in MP for non-hosting clients. Speculation.

about 6 month ago i and a couple of other guys really went into this and we found the greater number of objects that was added to the map, the more likely it was that rectangle triggers would migrate
We never investigated your angle theory Tactician, but in hindsight you may well be right ;D

So all I need to do is change the trigger to an ellipse, make the width wider than 5 and remove some objects if neccessary if it continues?

you dont need to remove objects for ellipse triggers m8, just for rectangular ones.
I never use rectangular triggers, having extremely long thin border triggers with an outer warning trigger does the job just fine.
Yes please add outer warning triggers, because there is nothing more frustrating than walking into a kill trigger and not know about it
