As all of you know, there s huge speculation of a Gulf War 2. With a squadron Abrams tanks on its way to the middle east it looks like this thing is gonna be big. There are also already 8, 000 American G.I s in Kuwait. So I thinks some people should get together and make a Gulf War 2 mod, even if there isnt a Gulf War 2 you could still make a mission/s about what might of happened.
It would be pretty cool, but you'd need a whole new island, or a desert with no water around it and weapon, etc but it would be cool, maybe . . . . .

It might be cool, yeah, but the subject is a little touchy, with the conflict possibly happening soon.
I think it would be better to stick to historical events, or ficticious ones. This would save everyones face, and it would be less likely to cause friction in the ofp world.

the first was op desert shield, the 2nd was desert storm

desert shield was not a war it was the staging period
no one declared war

and desert shield is the 2nd gulf war

Op Desert shield was the preparation phase of Op Desert storm.

what about the COLD war, nothing was declared, but it's what it was called, just because the Coalition Forces didn't declare war, it doesn't mean that there was a war between Iraq and Kuwait, gee, i guess i can have a laugh at YOUR stupidity
