ust wanna ask who is ECP team nd wat dey r ???

cuz i saw som1 w/ dat title under deir name - nd i just cant remember hearin bout ECP b4 (or did i miss nythin  :o ;D)

Enhanced OFP Configuration Project.

We are putting together a super-config for OFP, with a more realistic config, effects scripts (blood, chopper dust, fire etc) and a new version of PV's soundpack.

Because it is a config update, these changes happen automatically across all missions and campaigns, and the mission  editor doesn't have to do anything.

However, MP missions need a single trigger to work 100%, because of limitations in the engine.

We are very small (only 8 of us on the team). We'll probaly recruit after the first release (which will be in the next two weeks).

However, if you are a guru effects script coder, please IM me ;)

its just bad dat things like da blood start lagin on my comp wen usin on 2 much soldiers  >:(  :(

that, my friend, is caused by sand - not the addon.

yeah - nd ur comps alwayz freezes right ? cuz of da snow - hapens 2 all northern comps, tomby ;) :P

so wat u say is dat dis addon atracts sand from somwere (not round me - no sand here :P ;))

Sounds good but how will this work on the servers? Do u have to have the pack as an addon or is it more like a script so it comes packaged in the mission.pbo file?

It is a mod, you download it and install it in it's own directory, and then use the -mod option.

It is open-source, so other mods can take the ECP config and use it as a base.

The beta is nearing release. I am going away for 6 weeks, RED is in control of the ECP for that period. He'll be posting news on where to get the BETA in coming weeks. ;)

Tankieboy's a moron, he can't behave on the opflash.org forums either. Anyway, I think you should remove the links to the mod from the editors depot section when it isn't released. Just a tiny thought :)

By the way - El cookie monstro :D
