I'm starting to make maps and later some missions for 2 famous battles; Raatteen tie and Kollaa (some my relatives died at there)

Winter maps are great.  Are you aware of the winter islands currently available by Kegetys?

The battles you want to recreate sound good for a Chain of Command style game, where you can control multiple units.

You probably already know this but there is a Finnish Defense Force mod at http://koti.mbnet.fi/~fdfmod/.  They are more of a modern era mod rather than a 1940s era mod.
