I have seen a few rappel scripts around, but most don't have ropes! I am creating a short campaign and in a few spec-ops missions I would like to have a good rapple script WITH ropes. I have tried snypir's SP/MP support pack, but I had trouble putting them in my missions ??? If anyone knows a good rappelling script w/ ropes can you please post a link? Thanks ;D
Note: I have version 1.91

I plan to use either the BAS MH-6 Littlebird or a UH-60 (regular shipped with game).

Hi
search you computer for a script could:
init_closeair
it came with snypir's SP/MP support pack.
And move the script in to your mission map.
And in the onactivation for the waypoint type in:
["rapple",[chopper name,[groups to disembark]] ] exec "\SNYSptpack\interface.sqs"
IÂ'm not sure were to type it in, but I could test it and post back.

@Dandy
the init_closeair is actually a airsupport script. at least thats what it looks like when I opened it...
@usrt_peanut_butter
I would like to use either the MH-6 or UH-60. I have seen BAS's CHE-47 with the rapple script though. It has a cool animation.

H-Man,
In my bhd-part1 mission, I used the JSDF custom animations and rappelling. Very simple to use, and realistic.
get them here -- http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?showthis=3440

Thanks kueter! This may be just what I wanted! The pics on ofp.info look fantastic. I'm going to try it right now. ;D

This is exactly what I needed! Thanks Kueter! I have one question though. Is it possible to destroy the rope once my men are done rappelling? It looks kind of weird when the MH-6 rides away with a rope hanging off it :). If you know how to destroy the rope please tell me ;D.

H-man, ;D
It has been my experience that the rope disappears when the chopper goes away. Check the demo mission included with the animations...might be a trigger or script that makes it dissapear as well. If not, kinda of minor prob...might just have to live with it. 8)
Peace,
