Title: Chopper taxi script MP?
Post by: McBurne on 19 May 2003, 23:37:47
OK here's the deal. I used the Chopper taxi script, wich enables a chopper to taxi back and forth between a LZ, and a main base. (using radio commands and the action meny)
I put the scripts in the Mission files, and it works perfectly.... but when I export the mission to MP, the D*** thing suddenly starts asking for the scripts >:(  >:(  >:( and ufcourse your chopper taxi aint going nowhere!!! :'(

How do I insert the scripts with the MP version?  ??? (the scripts in this case are loose files, to be added to your mission folder) Simply pasting them into the MP-missions map alone does'nt help.

Lol, I know this whole thing is probably a stupid question... but can you xperienced folks out there gimme a tip?

Thx in advance

Having been in the editor you will already know how to save your mission during its construction.

Use the same Save box, pull down the menu and click "Export to Multiplayer" and you will then find it in your Root MP Missions

The only time you will lose any scripts is if you save it under a different filename to that of the editor version.

Always save it as the editor filename, then if you need to, simply change the filename using your filebrowser
