Title: Addon Weapon Name List

Hi Folks,

I am wondering if there is a list of common addon weapon names and magazine names around anywhere. I realise most addons include readmes with the necessary info, but not all do.

I thought it may be possible someone may have collated a list of common addon weapon names somewhere...

Or otherwise, is there a way to find this out within the editor or game ?

Any help would be appreciated

Make a map, where you only have your player and a
radio alpha trigger.

Trigger settings:

activation: radio-alpha/repeatedly

condition: this

onActivation: hint format ["weapon name: %1\nammo name: %2",weapons player,magazines player]


Now everytime you activate the 0-0-1 radio call, a hint pops up
left top on the screen, displaying the weapon and magazine names, you
are carrying.

Now you only have to write those down and maker your own
weapons list by changing your player unit into the different
unit types, where you don't know the weapon names yet.

rodent, if you do make a decent list of addon weapons and ammo, submit it as a tutorial to the Ed Depot. ;)

btw, couldn't you say it before I dePBOed all my addons the get the class names, could you?  ;D

 :D Second that mac'ky,  :o only I'd like to extend the thought a bit:

What about an  :joystick: OPEN SOURCE AWP LIST :joystick: that would be stinkin cool  8)

Like, each time I/you/we/anybody detects a new custom weapon, we submit the info to the list.
And occationally, the list gets cleaned up for any misspellings/updated versions etc.) :thumbsup:

The list could be divided into    and whatever needed  :)

I'd like to keep the list to official weapons/vehicles only. There are lists hosted here, but I don't know if they are complete.

If anyone does decide to put together a complete addon list - count me in as a contributer.

My last solved addon puzzle was for "mg36sm" which turns out to be for the UN Addon v2.0 (which I've only found documentation for in German).  Just a heads up in case someone else is wondering what this is. 8)

It shouldn't be in the SAME list, m8, that was never my thought - TWO lists were!  :)
