For too long now OFPEC has operated alone in the OFP community, without any form of links page or affiliations.
If an effort forge closer ties with the OFP mod community we have created the OFPEC Affiliated Mod page.
The page is accessable from the homepage, here (http://www.ofpec.com/affiliated.php).
As the title blurb of the page states, I only want to link to quality mods who are actively creating (and have created) new addons or script packages.
In future I will be categorising the mods as well ;D
If you would like to have your mod added to our 'affiliated mods' page, please drop me an IM, and give me a link to your page. I'll need a banner and a short speel on what your mod does. Also, please ensure you have a link to OFPEC on your mod's home page, and also a registered OFPEC tag.
Please help our mod list grow! :-*

help it grow eh ? :P
/me puts list in pot of soil and pours water on top ;D

We have changed the affiliated mods page a little, and combined it with the OFPEC Approved system.
Check the page for more details. A further news announcement will follow.
Thoughts?

Is it possible in any way to set up some kind of list of what the mods are working on?
So we don't have 10 mods working on the same addon (as seen before)
i know we can't stop this as mods like to produce addons themself, but it might have reduced all the cloned addons.
Mabye some sort of system where people could post guns and/or units/models they have made, and people could be free to use that to another addon..
ie. if i made SAS units, had no clue about weapons and missed a SA80 rifle.. then mabye some other guy had posted his rifle into the database, and i made my units use his weapon....

well that is a damn good idea. it has been added to the to - do list. I am afraid though that unless everyone uses it, it will be pointless.
i reckon we could integrate it with the tag system, when it is updated later this week.

wonders where the project uk forces approved tag is ::)

Messiah, I'm looking at all the mods currently listed on the page to see which ones (if any ::) ;D) will gain OFPEC approved status. We still have to work out exactly what the criteria will be. I want to do all the ones currently listed in a wunner, so I reckon it will be at least a week before any changes are made.
