True, true, it's never wrong to ask.

Sadly I can't answer in this case, because I don't understand the question.   Doubtless this is because I'm insufficiently advanced, but could you tell us a bit more about the problem?   What are you trying to do?   What is going wrong?

I think he means like bullet time... which about as close as you can get to that is the max payne script. I'm not sure if that guy knows how to run those yet. He seems pretty new.

The setacctime command can slow time down and make slow motion. (check the command ref)

And their is a program out there that can create your very own animations! (its in the ed depot)Put these 2 together and you have a very possible option.

Hm, I think I know what you mean, i tried it too! But actually you canÂ't STOP the time like in the Matrix, try it with -Setacctime 0.09- or something, that looks good, not like matrix, but good...  ;D

ya i think if u put a setacctime thing in and a new script and maybe a new skin or modified one of "NEO" or another "matrix-er" then it would be awesome...for example.

A guy starts to fire at Neo, the game goes into slow mo when it is detected that the bullets are near Neo, then when they get near enough the custom anim would bend backwards and hopefully miss most of the bullets...wouldnt work all the time...but u could do different animations...and pick them from a menu or something like cartwheel, back bend, forward dive...etc.

Yeh I agree thats a well good idea. I mean the Setacctime command is good and all but your idea is brilliant. I think there is a Matrix mod in the works its just been started. Ne1 seen Matrix: Reloaded better than the first  ;D

To be honest I really don't think the Matrix will work with the OFP engine as it is, but I am interested to see what people can come up with.

what are you talking about, Red ? It`ll work with the OFP engine. I`m sure.

Well one of the big problems is that you can't assign keys on the keyboard to actions, you could get the matrix 'bullet time' to work with the drop command and slowing down time.  I'm not sure how you would go about getting the player to play animations, using dialogs would be messy I think, scrolling down the action menu would be time consuming in a fight.

I will believe it when I see it :)

Prospero came close to doing something like this, his script set may be useful in this project.

no prob...

If the action was super slow you would have the time to execute the right action...

But auto could be better...

Like if the chap firing the bullet is close you bent sidewards, if he is far away you bend back...

The coolest would be if he just stretched out the hand, and the bullets stopped(With a cool added blue effect around...) And fell to the ground...

Cheers...

Ah good question young Padawan,

Yes it is possible sadly to say but I don't know exactly because one of my friends did it.  Come to think of that it might have been the person who replied it named _Ross_.

           Hope hes right. :gunman: ???
