How about an embassy?!
Yeah, that's right.
We've got rangers, deltas, and marines, but no embassy for them to protect or evacuate.
I mean, we already have an armed mob (see: Gimbal's Tossers addon), we have Middle East militias and soldiers.
But no embassy to protect from them.
I just drool at the ranger missions that could be made from this idea.

That really is missing. Would be fun to go save them or get the people out just before it is over-run. Where can i find the addon?

I haven't found one, and I am addicted to addons. But I have made one myself in-game.
I have Gunslinger's Editor Addon, so i have lots of little props and objects to spice things up.
I just place a stately looking building, enterable of course, and place some political pictures and flags and junk on it, some desks, computers, phones, and other crap. It takes a while but I like doing my own buildings... :D Try it.

In addition to the stately building, there should be a barbed-wire fence;
concrete barricades;
checkpoint-gate at the entrance, with sandbagged sentry post;
helicopter landing pad on the embassy grounds or roof;
and a flagpole with a flag.
You can place an angry mob (Gimbal's Tossers addon) outside the fence, and make those that are not armed with firearms: this SetCaptive true
So that they can throw stones and bottles at the guards, but the guards will only shoot those rioters that have AKs.

Don't forget, to make it like the AAC (Air Craft Carrier) addon, he can place 6 ACC's on a map with no lagg.
I've seen lotsa post like this, all talk and no DO. Just keep that in mind. ;)

I started a thread like this a while back, I was talking about the White House, the Kremlin, Buchingham Palace, and so on, one Idea I liked was a Shoping mall, but a Embasy would be great especialy with the BAS Deltas! :D

Hey guyz I'm making an afghanistan island with many new custom models and I was inspired by you guyz...... maybe I should make a russian or american embassy for my island (though it is located in kabul and I'm not thinking of making kabul....) If you guyz could gather pictures of the embassy both external and internal, I might be able to make one.. But remember it is a maybe since depending on the complexity of the building I might not have the skills to really do it.

This was planned nearly a year ago. I've had a version in OFP but it is only a shell. It is planned to bulid it in sections with rooms etc and access to the roof.
