Title: paa.picture problem

i'm having problems with the picture that goes in the island menu
in the mission editor.

i have taken a screen shot  of the map(in game). cut it to size via
paint shop, but i can't get the shading right i.e the sea should be dark and the island should be light. with me its either all light or all dark. i've tried various features in paintshop like negative imaging with little success. any idea's please

Replace the sea colour with one colour..........say, light blue.

Then colour the land a darker contrasting colour........possibly dark green.

Or vica versa, whichever way you prefer it.

The flood fill tool will be handy for this job.
