Title: M203 Grenade Vest
Post by: Rhino on 15 Jan 2003, 00:47:43
I've done a lot of searching and I'm quite impressed with the HUGE amount of addons created for OFP.ie  the variety! Pakistani, Italian soldiers....wow..anything can and appears to be done..... However, no one has tackled the M203 grenade vest. I've done some simple things but I can't get a 203 gunner to carry more than 3  or 4 grenades. Anyone been able to accomplish this yet?

Yeah, that would be great. A suggestion: as scripts can packed with add-ons, and these scripts called from the .cpp, perhaps someone could include a "countGrenades" scripts in their Grenade Vest add-on, something that will "reload" the vest when the grenade count goes below the max 3-4.

I dunno, just a quick suggestion...throwing it out there.... ::)

the NAM pack guys made a HE bag which carried 10 grenades for their rifle grenade launchers, I think it could be done, the NAM pack guys did it

Or you could make a new gun where the granade only fil one slot.
And for ekstra ammo the gun should be compatipel whit the original
granades.

another idea is that you simply make a magazin whit 10 granades and call it
granade vest you should only set it to a slow reload or that it is only allowed to fire one at a time.

Operation Northstar took the magazine approach, you get four sets of six bombs on top of six mags... much more realistic than three bombs and four mags
