Title: Some Cool Weapons

Wouldn't it be cool with weapons like knife and fibre wire.

They would be perfect for sneaking around in the forest slitting throats.

The weapon could be a cool addon if it was used something like in HITMAN, where you must sneak up on people to use them, also if would be appropreate that NOBODY noticed you using them and that no AI said "OH NO 5 IS DOWN"

Knifes and other melee weapons would be great.

I've always hoped someone would make the M202 rocket launcher.  It's the 4 shot one used by Arnold in the movie "Commando".  I used to play the rpg Twilight 2000 and I remember the 4 shot clips were either WP or HEAT.  Does this exist anywhere?

yes melee weapons can be done...not sure how they set damage within the config...but u can now make cool animations for them or use the strokegun from the original animations. I was working on a Mideval mod for some time but no1 was interested so i have stopped until i get more interest in it...items included things like bows, trebuchets, ballistas, swords, axes, polearms...ya know all the fun old stuff...

i made a quick knife...but i never skinned or CPP it...maybe i can find it lying around somewhere in my hidden addon files and dig it up and finish it

Hey

There was a knife addon, but it was gay. The usage was good, but you never killed anyone and when you did, smoke appeard out from nowhere.

there are a lot of models out there of knives and stuff..prolly hundreds...the hard part is making it do damage and the stuff like that...aka the config *gasps* i personally can pump out models like no1's business...but suck at configging so right where im at is at the end of modeling and the beginning of configging and i dont feel like learning cpp stuff right now

hmm i was getting ready to release mine and everything...but i found the ASD pack over at atwar's site under addons....that has the knife soldier and a few other cool stuff in it...hope this helps

..heh ok

ASD is just a pack of misc addons some are decent but the knife is pretty cool.

just scroll down on the page...the name of the exact file is "ASD1 Addon Pack" it is by Al simmons. and it works with 1.46
