Title: copy and pasting
Post by: M_S_Holder on 14 Dec 2002, 23:19:41
Is there anyway to copy and paste objects in WRPEdit?

For example, I've made an isalnd and I want to put alot of small bushes on it.  Instead of setting each and every bush, is there any way I can copy an area's objects and paste them to another area?

There is a way.......but it involves a lot of hex editing your map..........I dont think you want to do this........it is a lot of work.

Nope not in WRPEdit yet, but that is one option I would realy like them to add with the next version.
that would be a great option for bush patches an such.

Personnaly, I'm using a macro utility (AIM Keys 3.0) to copy/paste one or several objects. There was an interesting thread about this in the OFPInternals forum. Too bad that is closed.
