After some reflection, this is probably the most appropriate forum - I wasn't sure whether to post under MP scripting, beta missions, or this topic :-)
The PVP script pack is a framework of scripts that allow you to create PVP (player vs player) missions very quickly, just by adding markers to a map. There is an extensive manual (heading for 30 pages) which walks users through its use.
The intended audience is primarily beginner mission makers who are trying to create fairly standardised PVP maps rather than those attempting to put together complicated SP or COOP scenarios.
I'm still adding features, hence the 'beta' status. I could _really_ do with some feedback from those who have the time to make missions and test them in real games.
The project is hosted on dev-heaven.

Not that there's been a lot of feedback here :D but V2.01 is now out and supports CO-OP.
By setting CTF_gameType="COOP" in the ctfConfig file, you can use all the features of the scriptpack (artillery, minefields, persistent weapon loadout, noflyzones, flyovers, borders, AI 'guards', paradrops and vehicle respawns in a co-op mission. Works just as well in single-player as MP.

still getting my brain around your pack sbsmac. All seems pretty straightforward but there are many options. I appreciate it, takes a lot of work away from making or modifying scripts needed. Now if only someone would make an editorupdate so I don't have to figure out classnames for rocks and such! pboview has become my new best friend.

Thansk ZOmbie. I assume you're familiar with Jon's editor update http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=5932 ?
There is also a useful list of buildings and objects at http://www.armatechsquad.com/ArmA2BuilldingClass/

yes, actually I use both, but I think that rocks and vegetation can't be added like "hidden" buildings are. Was told that an add on is needed to create dependencies for rocks and trees. Having never done add ons I am not quite sure what that means, but I KNOW that stuff is in there, I can see the stuff in the pbo.
