I've seen a few posts found in the search option that point to a Campaign tutorial. However, it doesn't seem to exist here anymore.
Does anyone have one?

The resource exists, it is here (http://www.ofpec.com/ed_depot/index.php?action=details&id=25&game=OFP).

Link to campaign editor (http://files.filefront.com/campeditzip/;12854016;/fileinfo.html) by someone or other (it says in the file) -> THE resource for easily and painlessly creating campaigns without having to worry about description.exts. Well, you do need to make some tiny adjustments in the main description.ext upon creation (mostly just change the file version I think, maybe delete some extra lines on top of the description.ext and so on - just compare the generated file to a campaign file you know works in ArmA).
I really don't know why we're still not hosting this in the ED.... ;)

Does this work for ArmA? I used that in OFP times, working well with WinXP, but it doesnt work for me now in Vista. I assume it works for you, who is the author and the version?
-
It does work for ArmA - although, as noted, one does need to edit the resulting description.ext a little bit afterwards to make sure it works - a bit of work, but a lot less IMHO than doing it all from scratch (ArmA actually tells you what's wrong in the description.ext when CTD'ing, unlike OFP >_<). It works fine for me under XP - sorry about Vista :(
Anyway, I downloaded it from ofp.info way back when : OFP.info Utilities page (http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?sekce=utilities&archiv=true&page=2) - it doesn't say anything about author there either though! Best bet the author is gone or unknown, sadly. (NB to link-clickers: Ofp.info is a bit of a popup-ad shark these days, and not very reliable either). Still, it's a very easy to use and beats making it all from scratch. Maybe the ofp.info guys still know who made it?

Hmmmm, no author and no readme or documentation of any kind.
I looked at this and the download contains:
ceflib.cxt file ... 6314 KB
OFP Campaign Editor.exe ... 2,450 KB
ceflib.cxt is a Macromedia Director Protected Cast File.
Deleting this file causes the program to look for it when it is run, if you cancel the file requester the program runs anyway, however I have no idea if this .cxt file is needed to make the program function properly in some aspect or not.
Whatever, this file might be what Vista objects to.

Works just fine for me, Vista 64bit...

Included in the ED. If someone knows the author and/or version, please, tell me.

if i have my facts right. MacGuba and I discussed this evil exe a long time ago in a galaxy far away...
I have long since deleted the thing from my computers, but, i recall at the time chasing the author down to (I think), somewhere in Poland, with a dead url link and no email reply.
That exe persistently crashed on my computer, and did not (as i recall) produce the correct data.
at any rate I hope you guys aren't talking about my ofpCmaker version 1.10. if you don't have *that* program, i'll upload it
edit:
ok. it's not exactly the same incarnation as i have used. this one seems to work reasonably well. If i can dig out my old email archive i'll try and find the author as to me it's clearly from the same source.

Where's yours Mikero? Also, is it relevant to Arma?

Mike added his version to the OFP beta boards. :)
