Title: Problems importing into O2
Post by: EWAAR on 10 Sep 2008, 11:10:19
Hello everyone,

I need some help on importing into O2.

I currently have a completed model in Blender that i have exported in a .3ds format. The trouble begins when i try to import my model into O2, what happens is i go into O2 hit import select the model, go to import it then I get a error message that states "Missing KFDATA section" then after i hit OK nothing happens.

Can anyone help me here? ???
Thank you!  :D

Per the BIS forum responses, you need to fake the KFData. I've used anim8tor myself in the past. Theres a tick-box in one of the menus, then resave it.

Hmm, I imported from 3ds into blender then into O2 with no problems. I must have been lucky. I need to make a note of this in case it happens to me :)
