Hey all, I'm back after nearly a year and am loving all the new mods like SLX but I was hoping that someone would of implmented a realsitic radio framework which emcompasses all support requests such as requesting artillery barrages, air support, med-evac and so on.
Each of these support requests should follow an authentic real life radio protocol and method. Like for the artillery, our character should relay the backward-azimuth and map coordinates to the artillery crews after we click on the map to where we want the rounds to land... and also a feature to micro-correct the fire if need be. All should be done in audible radio protocol for that extra authenticity and immersion.
This radio framework, if made, would surely become a popular and essential feature in every ArmA mission since all modern-infantry squads have a radio and the ability to call on these support elements.
It is an essential feature on the road to making ArmA a truly authentic infantry experiance.
Maybe someone can expand on Mando's air support console found here http://www.ofpec.com/ed_depot/index.php?action=details&id=524 and strip it down a little to make it more realistic. Add some radio voices and it will be amazing.

That would probably take up a huge amount of resources and lag terribly for MP
