Title: Downloaded Missions Go Where?

How do I get a mission into a game once I have downlaoded it?
Where do i put it?
I have already downloaded a couple of missions and the place the mission folders into the Arma Missions folder but I can never get them to work in teh game. ???

hi Fratton_station

You must unzip the downloaded mission folder and put the .PBO file into the ArmA missions folder.  And doublecheck that the addons with the mission (if any) are in the addon folder. All of this BEFORE you start up ArmA.

thanks, but there never seems to be a .pbo file in the mission folder, just a .sqm file????

hi,

If its an .sqm file, its probably a mission edited file that's not "completed."  You can put into this folder below and then try "preview"ing it from the Mission Editor in ArmA.

C:\Users\ALX\Documents\ArmA\missions

(ALX being my computer user name, it could be fratton_station for you)
