Title: C8 Automatic Rifle

Hi there!

I am making a C8, and was wondering what you think, and if anyone would like to help me with it....
Check out the pic!

Quite good, eh?

At the moment, the textures SUCK(as you can see:)), and some issues concerning the model(cause at the time, the rifle is pointing the wrong way in-game, and is as big as a building:)

Anyone interested?

Hi Viking,
Looks like the rifle's coming along good :)

Might i suggest you do a version with the Aimpoint red-dot in addition to the ACOG version?

Yeah, sure thing...
If someone got me a decent side-view of the rifle(white background)in .pac/.paa format...

Also, i would need a good texturer...

Theres one in the "C pack", the model is quite good, and also has a ELCAN

but, the buttstock goes through the soldiers arm, because they extended the buttstock...

So, dont extend the buttstock

hmm on the site with c pack they got leapoard tanks to they are used by the norwegian army.
ive bin in a real leopard tank on a army meeting in melhus then they shot out towards the sea and drpve arpund NOISY

eh, no offense, but there are a lot of c8's/c7's made ore being made. Project UK forces is working on a c8, Operation Northstar made the c-pack and ADF-mod made the m4 with elcan sight.

but please keep working. we could use a c8 that's not inside a pack full of other shit we don't want. And any new modeler is welcome. I hope your c8 will turn out to be one hell of an addon. (oh, don't copy the sounds from Operation Northstar; that is NOT the way they sound like, even the original sounds from BIS are better)

The Norwegian MOD has four C8 models being textured and proxied..... Keep your eye out for them! :o

not to seem mean or anything but...what's wrong with the Northstar C8's? my point is...those have been done(and quite well at that)..why make another one??

I wonder what's wrong with ONS's C8, even though the shooting sound is copied from AA I don't see that much that's wrong, although I will say that the C7A1 and C8A1's scopes are a bit big in first person view.
