Download Anim8or (http://www.anim8or.com/) and open your 3DS model with it. Go to Options -> Debug and check the Dummy 3DS KData and save the model. It should be now able to be opened with Oxygen and the mappings will stay. :) The texture paths wont stay though, but that's easy to fix. Just select one area on the model where you applied a certain texture, then from Faces -> Faces properties add the texture line there and voilá.

Hey man thanks for the info...

I was just trying out and my Bulldozer started doin the whole "no entry cfg worlds" just as i was thinking ha i havnt had that problem
Bang it starts for no reason..... any kind of fix for that yet??

Is there any way of seeing the textures on the model without using bulldozer.

Thanks

Hmm, weird, I'm not getting any errors with Oxygen.

You could try using gatebuilder (http://www.armedassault.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=470&Itemid=2) by bxbx. It's pretty similiar to Oxygen and allows you to see the textures on the model without any seperate viewer programs.

@ IGWedge, the error might be coming from the "path to textures" field in the options tab. Make sure it says P:\
