Title: New to AA
Post by: ZapBrannigan on 19 May 2007, 01:27:11
Hello,

I played operation flashpoint and i just got Armed Assault. I beat the campaign and i now want to try making missions. Is the community for testing missions scripts and addons as developed as it was for operation flashpoint.  And what are the main mod items that I should download before i start making missions?

To answer your mod question, it all depends on what you want, there are just so many neat, fun addons out there. Just look around and your bound to find something you like, but also, its not like you need to download any mods, but it makes the game more fun.

You can find lots of fun addons and things here:

Hope this helped  :D

I'm not any addon expert, but that question was easy enough for me, no, you cannot use OFP addons with ArmA. And yes, probably you will be able to make old addons compatible with ArmA as soon as tools to do so are available (not yet).
