Title: what's the difference...

... between the uk version and the US version of armed assault? Will people from the US version be able to play with/against people from the UK version?

Not sure, but I think US is 1.06 and UK is 1.05. You should be able to play as long as both sides install beta 1.07.
Anyway this does not seem to be an Editing/Stripting question ...

That's because OFPEC is editing related forum/site, not a traditional type of 'discussion forum'.

Mandoble is right about the version stuff though.
