hi i am wanting to download some addons for arma but cant find the addon file. do i have to create it myself and what do i do after that?

When you download it the chances are it is a .zip or .rar . Extract the compressed archive and look for pbo files. If it has a readme it is also a good idea to read that as it may have some important information regarding installation.

Once you find it simply copy into your addons folder or make a mod folder.
