I got these things for OFP. Does every player that plays a mission that used that need to download the update, too?

EDIT: I see that that only the editor needs them :D

I'm actually embarassed to ask this but for whatever reason, I can't seem to get the nosplash command to work with the Editor.  :shhh:

Try this... just use "start" then "run" and put this in the blank:

c:\games\arma\arma -mod=@6thSenseEU -nosplash

Change the c:\games\arm to your actual arma path of course...

If THAT works, then you KNOW it's your shortcut setup.

Thanks man, it just turns out I'm an idiot and a few hours sleep showed me the err of my ways. I wasn't leaving a space between the 6th Sense Shortcut and the -nosplash. Works fine now:

"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -mod=@6thSenseEU -nosplash

I've done as above but I don't see anything different in the editor. What can I look for that would identify if it's working or not.

Under empty, you'll see too catagories like #BUILDINGS and something else...

I tried it and it didn't work unless you take the upgrade out of the 6th sense folder and put it directly into addons. The only thing is that when I put some buildings on in mission editor, my game crashes.

A small percentage of the buildings in the game don't work.

6th sense's editor allows you to see buildings and objects not given by default - but a small percentage of them don't work - thus the crashes.

Someone asked "do others who do not have this addon have to get it to play if someone creates a mission with it".  I believe they would need the addon as well, but I could be wrong so can someone verify?  I would hate to see this person and readers spend time on a map only to find that his friends cannot join due to addon objects via this addon.  I had that problem a while back with addons and found out the hard way.  It may be safe to get this "addon", but would rather have someone verify for the community if possible.  Thanks.

Hi,

Sickboy (the author) has already verified that other users DO NOT require the upgrade :)

Thanks, I just wanted verification.  I had used it before, but didn't realize I also had an addon from another source and wasn't sure where my issues were.  I fully verified by using this that it has no negative impact on players without addons so this works.  Great job and huge thanks.
