Title: shit I cant start OFP anymore - help!

For no reason OFP doesnt start anymore. I have now reinstalled the game (and added -nomap at the link) like before, but it still dosent do the trick. #

The message that comes up when I click on PFP Resistance is:   bas_derajam\confic.cpp.1':','encountered instead of '='

what does it mean?

It means that the config.cpp for the bas_derajam.pbo is faulty.

If you have been editing it I would replace the original back into your Addons folder.

Failing that remove it from your addons folder and the game will possibly load, unless some other addons in your addon folder depends on that one.

At least you will get a different error message.

I believe there is a lesson to be learnt here...

Use at your own risk...
See if OFPEC was not here to help what would happen to the world of OFP?
(and if Manfred Neder edited the addon then the other lesson is DONT EDIT ADDONS!)
